Laura Marean Harrington is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of VA, working toward her licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University as an undergraduate, majoring in Psychology and completed her masters in Counselor Education at the University of Virginia in 2002.

For over ten years Laura has supported students’ social, emotional and behavioral needs in the educational setting. While moving around as a military spouse she worked as a school counselor in schools across the United States, from Florida, to Hawaii, to Virginia. Most recently, she worked for six years as a counselor in Arlington Public Schools. She is skilled at working with students diagnosed with ADHD, autism, depression, PANDAS, sensory processing difficulties as well as those struggling with typical childhood challenges. Laura has extensive experience working with kids with explosive behavior, executive functioning difficulty and anxiety.
