I have a post-master’s degree in counseling from George Mason University with 33 years’ experience working with children and families in the Fairfax County Public School System and one year externship at The Women’s Center in Vienna. I provide psychotherapy services for children, adults, couples, and families. I have experience in trauma informed care with adults, relationship therapy, substance abuse recovery, parenting skills, career transitions, and Individual Education Plans (IEP) for children and academic challenges.

My psychotherapy practice is designed to bring a positive rapport and attitude to the counseling setting to establish a strong relationship with the client in order to effect change. My approaches are client-centered, empathic, psychodynamic, behavioral/reality based, and solution-focused by partnering with my clients to meet their therapeutic needs. I work with the client to make a therapeutic and/or strategy-based plan that will effect change in their life and the lives of their children.
